She just wants to be with us.
Before long, Laney is as happy as can be and we can try for bed again later.
Because I am convinced that all babies will sleep eventually. There is going to come a day when I get to wake her up right???? I can save my revenge for the teen years.

ReplyDeleteok, laney is just way too cute. i want to get her up and snuggle her too! ;) and i love that she has one arm out of her jammies. i guess levi's not the only one who's figured out how to do that. lol.
ReplyDeleteAww, so sweet! I'm with you - I always think a mother knows when her child needs her, so I try to follow my instincts as much as possible.

ReplyDeleteAnd I wanted to tell you in reply to your comment on my blog about going back to work - it definitely gets easier to leave them, although it's not totally easy ever. I don't think it should be. It's hard to leave them no matter what, but I know for me, I know that I need the money from a job & I know that my job is something that I care a lot about, so I think she will one day appreciate the fact that her mama did this. I'm trying to keep everything in perspective. And she's doing great with the babysitter, so that's definitely a benefit! But you'll do great & so will Laney! The first few days were an adjustment, though. So expect it to be hard for both of you for a little while.
